TA-DAA! Nice cover, right? :DD
I'm sorry, my preferred site of ebooks doesn't have it...
First Impressions:
At first, I was a little teeny-tiny bit uninterested about this because of their names (I'm sorry, I'm very name-picky. I can't really say I liked the name Day.) But nonetheless, a single name shan't stop me from reading.
Rating System:
1 star - I'm annoyed. I want to thrash my kindle around the room with it. I won't recommend it, and maybe I won't even bother to waste my energy typing a review for it.
2 star - There are some things I can't quite put a finger on this book. But I don't exactly hate it, or love it. It is meh.
3 star - I liked it, but it isn't something I would lay down on my bed for and think about for days. There seems to be an issue or two.
4 star - It had a single problem, and I liked the story so much.
5 star - IT WAS AMAZEBALLS HUEHUEHUEHUE I STAYED UP UNTIL THREE IN THE MORNING FOR THIS SHIZ OKAY AND I CANT WAIT TO GUSH TO MY FRIENDS ABOUT *insert crush-worthy guy here*
5 stars for this book!
In this instance, the crush-worthy guy is Metias Iparis.
SPOILER ALERT
My review is divided into three parts:
i. WHAT I LIKE AND WHAT I DON'T LIKE
ii. Q AND A
iii. RECOMMENDATIONS and AUTHOR COMMENTS
WHAT I LIKE AND WHAT I DON'T LIKE
Some things I didn't like in this book:
Some things I didn't like in this book:
The thing is: I didn't find even a single fault in this book. The romance wasn't rushed, plot twists were in a generous amount, blood and sacrifice in more than recommended amount, nice backstories, and whatnot. The plot itself is as fabulous as Beyoncé. Everything was perfect. If I could give a book a six-star, I'd give Legend fourteen stars. I wish I'd read this earlier and wasn't picky with the names at first,

Q AND A
i. WHO IS YOUR FAVOURITE CHARACTER IN THE BOOK AND WHY?
Q AND A
i. WHO IS YOUR FAVOURITE CHARACTER IN THE BOOK AND WHY?
I'd have to say... my favourite character is June Iparis. I admit that I had problems with her attitude at first, but I really was happy when I saw the change in her. The way she saved Day is.... unimaginable. She's very fierce, but she has a big heart. Not to mention the fact that she's very badass.
ii. WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE PART OF THE BOOK?
Um... my favourite parts would have to be.. when June interrogates and speaks to Day in his cell. It's because I can feel that June's guilty there for turning Day in.

RECOMMENDATIONSI would totally, totally recommend all of Marie Lu's books.
Here's a list of Ms. Lu's books:
1. Legend
2. Prodigy
3. Champion
4. The Young Elites (a whole new series! Not in any way related to Legend, but more sexay *winks*)
5. The Rose Society (sequel to The Young Elites, to be released)
